After my 30 year old 2/10/50A full metal charger started going crazy and I knew all the big brands perfectly, I decided for the Ampeak 2 /10 /25 because it has everything I need for a universal 12V system charger. Also, like my old charger, it had a "desktop" design which I opposed to "egg-shaped" " Prefer hanging models. It's well thought out and includes two large wire harness holders on the back, which surprised me, making it easy to store away without having to roughly wrap long cables around the device like my old charger did. It has smart technology and will turn off completely when you're done, but you can either choose fully automatic settings or manually select battery type and amperage. The internal fan automatically turns on as needed during higher loads and turns on when the load drops when battery recovers. Unlike my old metal device, the Ampeak 2/10/25A is very light and a comfortable size for any user. The hard-wearing plastic housing is of high quality and does not scratch anything. Compared to other popular names that don't offer more features or versatility, and some even cost less but ironically more money and have a bulky egg-shaped design that just wires up for storage, the Ampeak 2/10/25A is a great one Solution for home or business, DIY or professional.
