The hinge was too loose and the reception was worse than with a simple cable
When connecting to an FM transmitter, the hinge on the antenna is too loose to hold it in the desired position. It falls down when perfectly balanced vertically, and you'd better not breathe on it. My transmitter came with a wire soldered to the BNC connector, which is very basic but worked better, so I returned this antenna.
