I noticed a gritty feel to the color after using Quick Gloss. It was shiny, just seemed gritty instead of smooth and smooth. Then I went for buffing, which didn't really help the gritty feel. This is on a well maintained 2 year old car. After about 2 weeks I look through many different cleaners/polishes and see a jar of clay bars. I thought why not try it. The clay block immediately eliminated the feeling of sand. I would recommend everyone to start with clay and then quick shine and polish products. Without sound, you won't get the results you expect. I changed my original 1 star rating to 5 using the clay bar trick. I would like the instruction manual to recommend a clay bar as a starting point for preparing the finish. This would of course save a lot of time and effort.
