These are really good filters. My last 9 months or more (still not showing usage They don't weigh down the surface like pleated ones and have finer filtration. We use a CoOp water system, our water comes from Cypress Springs Lake in East Texas and our water has some sand and algae in it, these filters remove that and last a long time. I will not buy pleated filters again as these rotating filters are much better attached photo is after 9 months of use and the new filter is still in the box I replaced this filter because I was concerned about how long it would use not because of a decrease in water consumption.
