I bought two of these along with the A90 and CS-9040 height modules to upgrade our home theater system. (I've had smaller Definitive Technology in-wall speakers that were used with an old JBL subwoofer.) After giving them some time to acclimate, I have to say the sound was a huge improvement. Sonic presence, imagery and clarity are exceptional in our medium-sized living room, and bass is strong and clean (I've set the subwoofers to medium and haven't tuned the sound for the room yet). About $1,000 per tower (including modules) is more than I've spent in the past, but I think it's worth it. I can't say if Definitive Technology's speakers offer the best value for money but I love the look and sound and the company has a great reputation.
