The finish is nice on the outside but that's the only reason I'm not giving this one a star. Such a tool will only work if all the parts are correctly assembled. When I removed the brass retaining cap to remove and inspect the drill bit, I noticed a rather roughly applied teflon tape wrapped around the bit to take up the loose fit. The drill bit has an outside diameter of 0.7865", while the corresponding hole in the gun has an inside diameter of 0.8865". a whole tenth of an inch more without explaining the purpose. The second and much more egregious mistake is the 1/8" (0.125" ID) air jet I requested (the actual size of the air jet orifice is larger than 0.164" ID) coming out of the center of the nozzle, what a is required for proper operation. If you look down at the air nozzle orifice, you can clearly see that the drill used has shifted to one side, causing the hole to be tilted and outside. This simple error causes the medium to leak from the drill onto the side part of the insert rather than being centered in the insert resulting in unnecessary and premature wear.After paying $70 for a product you expect it to work properly and come with the right combination of parts.Although I'm disappointed Overall I am fortunate to be able to use and repair the body of the gun by making an aluminum bushing that uses the 0.1" bevel i compensated in the boron insert fit. As for a badly bored airjet, I'll probably just make a whole new airjet on my lathe. I don't have time to pack it up for the return process, I need to get it up and running asap.
