Review on Conquer The Snow With Tubbs Women'S Flex RDG Snowshoe 2021 by Richie Jacobson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Super-dee-duper for ordinary use.

Great on trails or semi-groomed areas. They are good for most all weights BUT not great for deep, fresh snow if. You are on the heavier side. I know some of the recommendations say the weight limit is somewhere d 170lbs under load, but Tubbs website indicates there is no true weight limit - but probably if you expect to be in deep snow the 170lb limit is more accurate. The great things are they are very light weight themselves and have wonderful traction/grippers and I have yet to slip using these whether on icy trails or steep hills. I have not used the heal lifts as they are very hard to get back down and for the shorter climbs I’ve done so far, it just doesn’t seem necessary. Overall, I love them, but the float is somewhat less than you might want if you are in deep snow frequently.

Pros
  • So easy to put on & take off.
Cons
  • The snowshoes are relatively heavy, which could lead to fatigue and discomfort during long hikes or trekking in deep snow
