Fitting meets specification to clamp 3/4 " PVC tubing
I was very pleased to learn that the outside diameter of the barb was measured at 0.778 inches, which is within specification. The fit was acceptable with a few small little nicks. I've bought many similar fittings on eBay with smaller .740" diameter burrs, so when crimping 3/4 food grade PVC tubing with twin clamps or double clamps. Clamps, hoses and fittings will not seal under normal 70psi water pressure.
