Just what I need to burn 10 year old MiniDV video memory onto my Windows 10 Home system. Installed in 10 minutes and when I plugged in my 15 year old JVC MiniDV camcorder it was recognized immediately. I didn't have to download any drivers. I use Pinnacle 20 Ultimate for video editing and was able to control (play, stop, play, toggle) the camcorder from my video editor. I am very happy with this purchase. Note. Besides the PCI-E slot, you also need to connect it to your internal power supply. My PSU had an accessible connector, so there was no problem. A power cord adapter was included in the kit if needed - it seems to work with both new and old types of power connections.
