Being thunderbolt 3 compatible doesn't hurt around my house.While using the Hub I noticed an increase of external transfer speeds. The timing was convenient as I had to clear out 2 Apple iCloud accounts and divide the data up between multiple USB devices fr organization. Except for the Download speeds from the iCloud it went faster than I have experienced in a long time.It also has LED lights that let you know exactly what type of port is connected and whether or not it is charging. The hub also includes a power button that allows you to turn off the connected device when it is not in use. This feature conserves energy and prevents your devices from overheating. I especially like the new buttons, Before I found myself easily bumping buttons and turning drives off. That is no longer the case. You have to hold the button a few seconds to turn off. This is a good change.Using the hub is extremely easy, simply plug it into your laptop or device and you are ready to start using it. It is compatible with both Windows and MacOS devices, making it suitable for everyone.
