I bought this brush thinking it would be a great replacement for the typical kitchen sink brushes we have used in the past. They never had big suckers on their butts and were always on the move. I can say without a doubt that they have great suction power and will NOT move once you place them. Cleans the inside of glasses very well. If I could suggest an improvement, instead of the brush that gets the outside, it would be replaced with a sponge with a sandy side. So it does a really good job of picking up fingerprints, which often stay on the outside of glass and can only be removed with a sponge, brushes don't do anything for fingerprints. Otherwise the thing does exactly what you want!
