It was too big but I was able to fix it
Bought and tried on so it slowly slides around my waist. This was a pretty simple fix for those who had a similar problem. Go to your local department store and pick up the same "rivets" from the sewing department as the ones in the belt. Purchase the tools required to install them. Cost me $8. Poke a clean hole large enough to fit the "rivet", use the tool according to the package directions and the outrigger, another belt accessory.
