I installed several versions of this generation (1050, 1060, 1070, 1080) from nVidia on other people's computers and my old GTX 580 completely failed (a fan stopped spinning, another one was noisy and my screen blinked white several times a day). This gave me reason to upgrade and I found the 1060 to be the best value at the moment. I just want the graphics card market to get better (I don't really like crypto miners). This is the first time I have bought a ZOTAC branded card. After settling on the 1060, I based my purchase of this brand on the price and size of the card. I am very happy with it. It works great with DP connections to dual 1440p monitors. I've noticed that both monitors now show up as audio devices as well and it works, but the audio from the monitor isn't very good, which is to be expected. I think I'll use my external DAC/amp with headphones, but I thought it was cool. The fan is quiet when not under load, but gets louder, but not very loud, when under extreme load. Just remains to be seen how long it lasts. I will update this review if I encounter any issues.
