I bought this phone cord to plug my phone into a wall outlet about 3 feet away. A length of six feet seemed like a good choice for this connection. After connecting the cord to the phone, I unwrapped the tie that was holding the cord in a nice bundle and pulled the cord to the outlet. I plugged the cord into the wall outlet and my phone immediately dialed. It was like a magical phone god that made the phone signal pass from the wall through the wire to the phone. Just unbelievable.
