We bought this for my teenage stepdaughter. Since her room serves as our guest room while she's away, she can afford the luxury of a king-size bed. We had a really hard time finding bedding that she wanted (not too grown up) in a king size. She absolutely LOVES this set. It's bright and fun, and she loves the fact that she can flip it upside down to change up the look a bit. The duvet itself is soft and cozy, although not very thick. (Although at this price point I wasn't expecting it to be of the highest quality.) It seems fairly well made; She's been using it for a couple of weeks now and we haven't noticed any issues with the stitching and the material hasn't snagged or pulled in any area. Pillowcases are lightweight; Pillowcase material instead of the thicker quilted material. However, they fit well and look good on her bed. The only negative comment I have is that this is not quite a king size duvet. Her bed is not particularly high and she does not have a thick pillow top mattress. However, the duvet hardly reaches the edge of the mattress on both sides. We pulled it down to cover the mattress and the box by the door; On the wall side, it extends about 2 inches past the top of the mattress. Looks nice from the door but is not very functional. And since it's "King Size" it's basically square. Thus, it does not cover the bed completely from top to bottom. Folding the top down and tucking in the footrest allowed us to do just that. I would probably return it based on the sizing issue alone if I could find something else in king size that my stepdaughter would love as much as this comforter. It would probably fit perfectly in a queen-size bed and might not even be too big for a full-size bed, although I'm not sure. Otherwise we are happy with this purchase and recommend it, especially given the great price.
