Review on Clover 1042/D Orange Amour Crochet Hook, Size D, 3.25mm - Ideal for Precise Crochet Projects by Kelly Caballes

I wanted something that would make the smaller hooks (B,C,D,E,F) more comfortable without causing cramps in my hands. I have several Clover Soft Touch hooks and the end of them rests in my palm and bothers me so I don't like them. I wanted to try this style and this one works. The stem is slightly longer, just enough to sit right behind my palm, which is much more comfortable. The hook doesn't stick out right in the middle of my palm. I gave Soft Touch to my daughter in law and I will take B, C, E and F in this Amour line. I still use my big aluminum hooks which aren't that difficult to hold. I only use these for small hooks. This makes it much easier to hold. The hook does not go completely over the rubber bar, so there is play at its tip. I don't see any breakage with normal use. You have to keep bending it back and forth or biting it off, seriously, who would do that? If you allow your kids or dogs to become addicted to you, you may need to stop leaving them lying around.
