I saw some really bad reviews so I hesitated to buy it. But after not being able to hang up my fast lane with the gear recommended by a local store, I decided to look online for this kit. It worked like magic. I followed the directions for making the pilot holes. 1/8" for those going into the lugs, 3/8" for the anchors in between. It was very easy to install and the anchors and screws look like it's holding the rail just enough. I'm sure the track won't go anywhere. the handrails were beginning to pull away from the wall. Now that I see him hanging them on the wall with the railing, I see that he only used three anchors and no bolts. Not only did he not follow the recommendations for inserting into the cleats, he only used three holes to support the rail. I can understand why it was downgraded from Rubbermaid's installation recommendation. Be sure to follow directions, use bolts AND anchors!
