I bought this hoping the sizing was correct. It was. I have a thin silicone case on my phone while waiting for the Apple case to arrive. The smartphone fits easily into the case and leaves a lot of space free. I believe that people using large cases (Otterbox etc.) will find that this phone case works because the flap can close at different heights, which should mean the magnet inside is quite large. However, that's just my opinion. An extra large phone case may not fit. I will not use the large case. The magnetic closure works perfectly. The skin is softer on the inside. There is no padding on the inside and the outside is pretty tough, but this case easily protects the phone inside. The undersides have holes but not the bottom. As far as I can tell the headphone connection only works when using some sort of L-jack, which might work, and with an Otterbox-type case it might not work. Note. This phone is advertised as vertical but a picture shows the strap clip rotating. It's not mine. I'd love to have that, but knew it might not be because this case is correctly advertised as vertical. However, the rest of the photos look as I received them. The body is beautiful in my opinion. All in all, I'm glad I got it.
