Review on W10712395 Dishwasher Rack Adjuster Metal Kit - Upgrade with AMI to Replace W10712395VP, W10350375, AP5957560, PS10065979, W10250159, W10350375 by King Reeves

Overall, this product looks like an upgrade from a genuine Whirlpool part. The original part of my dishwasher was made entirely of plastic, so the clip holding the roller broke. However, this product is mostly metal so I'm wondering how long it will last due to rust/corrosion. When I opened the product I was a bit worried it didn't fit and the instructions weren't very clear. I also had to drill holes connecting the adjuster assembly as mentioned in many other reviews. I gave this product 4* because it fits the OEM part perfectly, but I doubt the quality and ease of installation. not convenient and no tools, you will have trouble to install. The installation pictures on Revain are 100 times better than the instructions that came with the product. Use the Revains images and text from the instructions provided. I was basically comparing old parts to this product and figuring out how it all fits together. Note: I'm a bit disappointed in Whirlpool because I used their top end dishwasher and it broke within 2 years. As a child and in my first two homes, my dishwashers ran 7-10 years a minute and I never had to replace the basket or any part of it.
