I was surprised by the quality for this price.
This is a fisheye. Its geometry is specific. It’s stupid tocommplain about it, you yourself know what you are buying. Itcomrrects perfectly in lightroom => an excellent lens for landscapes. Regarding the lack of autofocus. I bought it for 10 thousand, new. Where you will find an autofocus lens (where it is not needed) and of such quality for such money, I don’t know. Yes, and you can’t talk about it as a disadvantage, again you know what you buy. \\\ I was very pleased with the lens. Great for shooting people, events, landscapes, night photos (astrophoto), architecture, animals. After this purchase, I bought another Korean Samyang 85 1.4, which I also liked. - -Sharp even at 3.5 -With this FR, it is an excellent super-wide for crop. After 18mm, there are completely different sensations - Focusing. Almost all the time I have focus at infinity. Even indoors. - Well assembled. No backlash anywhere, nothing dangles, you can feel the build quality. -Smooth focus ring. - Shows itself well against backlight -Large viewing angle - Fisheye (good for taking pictures in clubs, indoors) - Comes with lid, hood, case.
- -There is no way to install filters. In some cases, you can cheat and insert them between the lens mount and the lens itself. But installing a protective filter there is stupid, because it should protect the lens itself. -Well, it is very sensitive to dust. I remember that I completely cleaned everything from the lens, installed the camera, left it for 2 hours to shoot a time-lapse. When I was going home, the lens was almost clean. sky. But okay, a single frame. But when you have about 200 photos, and you need to delete it everywhere, this is a problem.
