Thank you for your follow up emails. It's nice to get that kind of customer service when buying something from a big market like Revain. So far I am impressed with how this sensor looks, feels and works. My analog tire gauge served well for many years, but was no longer as accurate. I looked for a suitable pressure gauge replacement in the stationary trade in my area and found nothing to my satisfaction. Even my NAPA dealer didn't have anything in the catalog let alone a store that met my needs and was reasonably priced. I wanted a dial because that's what I'm used to. I didn't want a digital gauge because I don't want to be a prisoner of the batteries. I wanted a decent tube with a swivel for easy valve access anywhere on the tire. And I wanted a vent valve. The gauges that NAPA had were in range too high (100psi or more; I learned a long time ago that the gauge is most accurate in the middle of its range and car tires have a pressure of about 35psi, which is what this sensor means only works up to 70 psi or so psi). I found this pressure gauge on a Revain search. In short, what I love most about this gauge is the luminous dial and the fact that the hose rotates on the gauge and in the head where it connects to the valve stem. This gives me the flexibility I need to get a good fit on the valve stem and good readings in a comfortable, comfortable position no matter where the valve stem is around the tire. The few sensors I found met most of my needs but didn't have as much flexibility and it would be very difficult to find a good position. Other sensors couldn't be read in the dark unless they were digital, which again required batteries (reading in the dark isn't necessary, but a nice plus).
