I have finally replaced a very old version of this teapot that my mother gave me for a housewarming over 25 years ago. The former roommate and ex-boyfriend rusted and destroyed it. The coloring of this teapot isn't that pretty, but once I got over that I took a closer look at the teapot. It's super cute, very attractive. The nose is much better on this one; This is a major improvement. The old design required you to pull it out, and the former quickly destroyed it. This one revolves around which is a brilliant design. It is well made and easy to clean. I am happy to see that they have many old designs as well as new ones. I can't understand why this little teapot gives me so much joy. Maybe because it was a fairly inexpensive kitchen gadget that is very useful and allows you to make hot water for tea and pasta. Maybe it's because it reminds me of my old kettle and better days before COVID and the nationwide riots. This year was miserable; I've lost a few pets, friends have lost jobs and businesses, so many deaths and chaos everywhere you look. But this kettle heats water for tea. In this time, cooking, heating water, choosing tea and hearing the whistle of the kettle, I can relax at this moment and switch off from the world for a short time. I don't have to worry about work, or who will die next from COVID, or looting and violence in the streets. Just me and my tea. And it's just too cute to look at. Thanks to the manufacturer and seller. It arrived quickly and in good condition. Thanks for the improved design. Thank you for bringing some peace to my day at a time of utter and insane chaos.
