The mat should be on all the time and not turn on when the baby steps on it.

The volume must be adjusted each time the device is switched on. Loud every time which is annoying. It needs to be turned on every time the baby steps on it. Other carpets appear when you step on them. Parents have to turn the rug all the time. Do not buy this rug. I assumed this rug would remain the same as the mats I'm familiar with. I couldn't tell it wasn't true by reading about it. It has good sounds which I wanted and two little ones can play at the same time.

Pros

Large Design - 55.1" x 27.5" piano dance mat with music keys on both sides, big enough to play with for two kids to play at the same time and create tunes together. This is a fun toy for kids to add more fun in their world.
