Dorky but effective
No one will win any fashion awards with this hat. But you will be protected from the sun. The hat is lightweight and dries quickly. Sand brushes right off of it. The ponytail holder is a nice touch if your hair is long enough to pull back, but it works even if it isn't. Better yet it protects the back of your neck in addition to your face. Folds up easily but seems to retain its shape pretty well.
