I bought this backup drive from Seagate for my Mac. After 60 days it was working intermittently. The backup ended 10 days ago. I have contacted Seagate Technical Support for troubleshooting. After about 30 minutes, the technician determined that the drive was working properly and that the problem was with my Mac's Time Machine. After speaking to two different Level 2 people at Apple, they couldn't get Time Machine to back up and said it might be because of the age of my Mac (8 years old but otherwise works fine). I took it to my local computer repair shop and after checking a number of things they determined it was a Seagate drive. They sold me a backup drive and backed up my 300GB of data with no problems. Seagate refuses to refund the purchase price and I have too much time to return the Revain. Seagate will replace it but now I don't need it, I already bought it and I suspect it will be another piece of crap. So if you buy it, don't expect a refund after the 30-day Revain window.
