Review on 🧽 3M Sanding Sponge: Versatile 2.875" x 4.875" Tool for Smooth Finishing by Walter Velasquez

I usually use square sponges with medium grit on one side and finer on the other side

I use these sanding sponges quite often in sanding shops. For most seams in the field, I prefer a sharpening rod for all but the last layers. I usually use square sponges with a medium grit on one side and a fine grit on the other, this helps me get through when someone else is helping with the finishing, but in the corners these corner sponges allow me to sand one side of the corner without to touch the other. When you're really done, all you need is a fine sanding sponge. This is for drywall, they are also great for woodwork where there may be small ridges that you need to account for to keep the hard sanding block from bending.

Pros
  • Angle sanding sponge is fine grit
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
