It was a cold morning when I discovered someone had thrown this huge 50 inch rear projection TV onto my lawn with a FREE! sign on it. I sighed as I put the kids in the van and drove to school. After all, I suppose that's the danger of the horse standing in the corner. People think they can use your yard for things like that. When I got home I thought about it. My TV was old, dying, and let's face it. Too bad it's small compared to the TV in front of me. My father is an electronics engineer and I can do some repairs myself. So, with the help of a weird city park truck driver who saw me struggling to get this thing across my yard and up the stairs to my house. I had this in my living room. When I tried to turn on the TV I got a flashing error code on the power button and also a strange noise. hmm interesting. Checking on the internet got me a blown lightbulb problem. That the detail was "so hard to find" and "the TV is so big". Yes. Right. OK. Instead, I just found the lamp myself, removing the old one that only needed a few screws. I put this baby in, screwed it back on, replaced the little back door that hides the lamp, and. Oh hello. What do you know? TV 50" for the price of a lamp! REVIEW!
