Not only for furniture

I use them in my garage for my big tools. I keep my table saw, chop saw, and drill on casters to save space, but you don't want them rolling when they're on. I like my fingers where they are. This is the easiest thing I've found to keep the wheels from rolling and then get them out of the way when it's time to drive the car.
