I used 3 of these on my daughter's jeans. She had holes in her knees and apparently it's very bad to see the spots. Ok, so I put them on the outside and the trouser patch on the inside. Material for patches was plentiful. I used HUGE flowers to completely cover the holes. I even added a smaller one as an embellishment, placed just above the normal material. After washing the pants, only one remained and hardly. A decoration and one of the hole covers have disappeared. They came off in the washing machine. I had them on a gentle cycle with the lowest possible spin speed. I have washed viscose and silk on these settings and had no problems. I've been using iron-on patches for decades. These are just cheap. They look very nice and there are a lot of them, but be prepared to keep replacing them.
