First off, these are NOT "beach balls"! The balls are meant to be round, but these are more egg-shaped! And secondly, it's definitely not 16 inches, but at best 10 inches! That being said, the kids still had a lot of fun kicking them, so I guess they did their job!

They were a smash hit at my daughter's party. As other reviewers have said, they may not be a perfect circle, but they are great for inflating soccer balls. We had a birthday party in the gym's play area and they stayed, the kids happily kicked them. After the party, they took them home as a gift.

It was a really great addition to our son's soccer birthday party. Although one of them had a stitch hole when we tried to blow them up, the rest of the package was great. They even held up against all the kids throwing and kicking them. We were happy with the purchase.

I bought a similar ball for my daughter a few years ago. A lady in the park was walking around selling these balls and other inflatable figures. So I bought one for $3-5. This lasted about 4 years after he recently started losing air. It's still running, but you pump air in halfway. So I thought I'd try to find a new one for her.
