Review on Flameless Led Candles Flickering by Robert Kimble

Like many moving LED candles with flickering flames, these candles have LED light just below the surface, reflected off a flame-shaped white plastic rim that supposedly dances around to create the effect to mimic a real flame. That's a great concept; We have some other candles that perform this effect with great skill. However, these candles are not that good. The flame of these candles is quite weak and the flickering movement is not smooth and subtle; It has the sweeping regularity of those little cat figurines with flapping paws you sometimes see in Asian restaurants. So are they disgusting? no They are alright. And I think for the money they are reasonable. But if you're looking for those (usually more expensive) candles with bright, randomly flickering flames, this will be a bit of a disappointment. UPDATE: Just discovered that one of the candles is missing the plastic "flame".
