I was skeptical. I usually spend a lot more (read: too much) on thermal protection for my hair. But this product is AMAZING. I liked the smell immediately. Then I liked the weight when applied to my damp very fine hair - not heavy, not greasy, but not absent either. Doesn't weigh my hair down at all. In fact, on the second day, my hair seems cleaner than usual. and even on the third day after washing. So I would say this product is great for light non-greasy protection. It seems to me that there is less damage than other products. For reference, I blow dry every 2-3 days, and most days I straighten or hot curl. I recommend this product to all other products I have used.*** *UPDATE**** AFTER using this product for a month my hair is still very soft BUT I am very brittle. Otherwise, nothing has changed in my hair care, so I can only assume that the heat protection offered is not sufficient for my ultra-fine hair. I am very sad because my hair is thin and difficult to grow. I wish I had never changed the product.
