Review on Kessaku 6 Inch Nakiri Vegetable Cleaver by Mike Pfettscher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for large fruit and veg

I have quite a large collection of knives but I've been specifically looking for a Nakiri knife ever since I read about it. Of course it had a sharp edge and after a few months of use and care it was still holding its edge and I haven't had to sharpen it yet but I wash and dry it immediately after use and rub it over the steel edge. This is a good tool, especially when slicing large fruits and vegetables. The balance of the larger blade and shape makes cutting more comfortable and easier. The bolster has a nice grip slant and the grip has a raised edge on the right side which seems to give me a better grip and control. I'm happy with it and I hope you are too. Hope that was helpful, thanks!

Pros
  • Cutlery and knife accessories
Cons
  • Long time
