I got stuck in the sand with my SUV 3 months ago and was lucky to have another car that had a tow rope to pull me out. My car had four-wheel drive and somehow got stuck in the loose sand. I haven't been to the beach since then. This rope is similar to the one he had. I put it in the trunk to better prepare for my next trip to the beach. The rope is pretty thick. It's really stiff and I was able to swing on it by hooking it to the pergola. A must if you like horseback riding on the beach.
