The idea of the late founder of this company was to organize local African women to produce sustainable shea butter and give women the means to be self-sufficient is commendable. And the product is excellent. I used to buy this oil directly from LXMI, and the packaging is slightly different from the company's: the tube is plastic rather than metal, and the cap is wide enough to stand the tube upright on the cap. The packaging in this version, sourced from Revain, is a metal tube with a small screw cap that does not support the tube in an upright position and therefore needs to be stacked sideways; moreover, the tube was sent without a box in a plastic-coated postal envelope, not in a box; There were many dents and pockmarks on the pipe. The product appears to be the same (and the ingredients on the tube suggest it); Easily absorbed, it can be used on the face, hands, heels and feet, and cuticles for luxurious hydration.
