As long as you follow the manufacturer specification for write speed, which is 4x for these forms, you will NOT get any blocks. I find I get the best results with Nero 11, which also gives you control over write speeds. I've burned about half of the discs in this pack and I haven't had a stand yet. Those who write that they have pads were probably trying to record at a higher speed than the disc was designed for and simply didn't understand the use of recorders, or they originally had low-quality recorders. My advice to people like this: prepare yourself before making such hasty product reviews that you obviously don't understand. If I run out of these discs I will order another batch because the price is right and they work. as expected. I haven't had any issues with them and would recommend them to anyone who knows what they do when it comes to burning DVDs, BluRays or whatever. I have already mastered a BluRay DVD with my own material using Sony DVD Architect Pro 5.2. And yes, there will be more! UPDATE: 6/21/2013 I used up this whole spindle without getting any of the coasters, so on my next order I ordered a pack of 50 and have already used a few of them. So far, so good.
