Cheap but reliable

Have been using them since 2013. I haven't had a single failure of the popular LG and Pioneer drives! I bought a 1x-4x spindle and they run at speeds in excess of 8x. I've kept it on a top right shelf for years and they've always been reliable when I need to eject (bye) everything I've backed up to hard drives.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Perfect First Burn fits Accessories and Consumables

Discs arrived today. Shortly thereafter I recorded my first film on Blu-ray. If the remaining CDs are as good as the first one, I will buy more of these CDs. I paid $26.95 here at Revain. It seems like a good price considering what others want. If the spindle center goes bad I'll update this and let people know. For the first firing I am satisfied. As this is the first time I've burned any type of Blu-ray Disc, I'd say today was a success. :) (Asus burner)

Inexpensive and seems reliable.

So far so good. I burned a 24GB data Blu-ray disc using a Pioneer SATA Internal BD 208DBK. The disc was incredibly quiet while burning and was tested with no errors. I will wait six months to see if there is any information written on the disc and will update my review here if there are any issues. These discs are my first experience with Blu-ray technology and the first to use in my new Pioneer drive. I am using a 2012 Mac Pro Mid computer. And the discs on it shone flawlessly. Compared to…

Good for the price. Be sure to check the combustion!

I've used four or five of these cake boxes and never had a bad burn until the last one failed 3 times in a row, all about 30%. far) succeeded. I think most people would consider that a good success rate for a disc of this price. I set my software to burn slowly and tested it. If you don't want to take the time to check each drive, you can spend a little more money for more reliability. But it's fine if you're a home user and don't mind letting your software take care of the recording.

EXCELLENT discs. unbeatable price

Out of 50 discs only 3 didn't burn and I'm pretty sure it's a software issue not the quality of the discs themselves. They're great for the price and the quality is perfect. I've been waiting to write this review because of all the bad ones, but I have two LG BD-RW drives with Nero 9 and DVD Fab and they work great with those drives. CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE! UPDATE: 7/25/2013 I've used 5 or over 50 packs and still have very few coasters. These are the best value BD-R discs and they work great. The

FROM MY WORKPLACE to blank media

THESE HUNDREDS BURNED. There are very few bad burns, and it's really impossible to tell if it was the drive, or a corrupted file, or the software that made the mistake. I have done a lot of research since they form my media library. I use branded discs because I've found that there is more than one company that makes them. You can find this data and make your own choice. the price is almost the same. Do homework. I recently started backing up 20 year old CDs with pictures and various files on…

Didn't last 3 years

UPDATE 6/2015: After 3 years of proper storage (cool and dark) these discs are unreadable and the color is fading/fading visible in places. Apparently they thought the invisible ink was a good storage idea. So I do NOT recommend these. What follows is my previous review. While working on my third 50 disc pack, I had very good results with these discs on my Pioneer BDR-207DBK internal drive on Linux. I usually record at 2X for more reliability on all discs, just out of habit. I apparently had…

No blocks yet

As long as you follow the manufacturer specification for write speed, which is 4x for these forms, you will NOT get any blocks. I find I get the best results with Nero 11, which also gives you control over write speeds. I've burned about half of the discs in this pack and I haven't had a stand yet. Those who write that they have pads were probably trying to record at a higher speed than the disc was designed for and simply didn't understand the use of recorders, or they originally had…
