So far I have to say I'm quite satisfied. What has worked so far is an easy setup and the device is small and compact. I used glue and attached it to the bottom of the slot in my 2020 Highlander. No compatibility issues at all. When I start the car I get a popup asking if I want to connect my phone. It annoyed me at first until I got distracted one day when it popped up and delayed reconnecting - found out that if you wait maybe 10 seconds it will reconnect automatically. Then I just ignore the popup. Their layout has hardly changed compared to the one without this button. One difference I noticed was that I had a battery indicator. Music and maps, no delay. Text and voice to text worked great. One thing I found, I was having lunch and watching Netflix, the lag between voice and video sync was quite noticeable. So there is some latency or lag, but not enough to be noticeable when listening to music. So now I know if I want to watch in my car, unplug that from my bluetooth so I can eliminate the lag. If I run into any problems or it stops working I will come back to check. When I'm not coming back it works great and attracts family and friends as it's a feature we all want. Tired of digging out your phone, unplugging the charger, finding a safe place to dock and plugging it in - just to use Apple CarPlay.
