After I connected two Yealink W56H phones to a Yealink W60P base unit, the phones retained the date/time formatting and records I made about the had saved phones, not at. I even factory reset the base station and phones and restarted the base station. plugged the phones back into the base station and tried resetting the time/date on the phones again but with the same result. After a couple of hours of googling, it turns out that the date/time format etc is "pushed" from the base station onto the phones. So to change them on the phones, you need to change them on the base station. Changing the time zone and formats on the base station requires using the graphical user interface (GUI) present on the base station. To do this, you need to access the base station by typing the IP address of the base station in your laptop browser. Once you've done that, the GUI will ask you for a default userid and password, which aren't listed anywhere in the documentation. The Yealink website is intended for enterprise IT telephony professionals, so the only non-technical documentation is the quick start guide that comes with the base station and not the standard userid/password combination for accessing the base station GUI contains. The product does not come with any documentation other than a quick start guide and there is no support phone number to call. So the bottom line is I plan on returning the product and buying a different brand from a different source.
