I hooked this up to my variable speed cordless drill. I wouldn't use it on a non-variable speed drill press. Before I tried it, I was concerned that I might secure the jar properly or that it might swirl the peanut butter around. But I just placed the peanut butter jar down the sink drain and had no problem keeping it there. After about two minutes, my peanut butter was perfectly smooth. I was hoping to clean it easily by swishing it in a little water with the Dawn, but I had to use a brush to get rid of any residue. It's a lot easier than using a butter knife. Mix butter and peanut sediment. I wish I had looked for this years ago!
