cheese slicer feels good in the hand and is easy to adjust. For health reasons, I have sterilized all kitchen utensils and cutlery in the dishwasher. Unfortunately, that wasn't a good idea for Käsehobel. Both are now covered in some kind of black substance. It falls off my hands and I try to wash it off with soap and water but it covers the entire handle. Wire and reel are ok. I wish the washing instructions said not to wash in the dishwasher. I'm getting my cheese slicer back.
