Review on Creative Inspire T10 Multimedia Speaker System with BasXPort Technology - Immersive Sound at its Finest by Katrina Wright

Disappointed with Creative

I've been ordering mostly Creative and Logitech desktop speakers with or without a subwoofer for many years. Unfortunately, I'm now turning down Creative. This Inspire T10 has the same downside as other Creatives I've used in the past - an audio cable that plugs into the computer's analog audio output (not a USB cable). The cable becomes unusable after a few months of short-term use. I only use this T10 at work and very rarely. However, the cable has an internal short or open circuit that causes the speakers to emit a very loud hum if the cable is not tampered with after connection. you know how it is Sound can be played. The source of the problem is in the plug. Unlike other audio cables I've used, this cable is fully sealed and cannot be unscrewed to expose wires and solder. Otherwise I would fix it myself. I don't handle my equipment roughly and have always been very careful with it. With so little use, I find the quality of this pair of speakers below average. The sound, when actually working, was fine for desktop speakers. Of course, given their size and lack of a subwoofer, you'll only want to use them for light background music and remote business meetings, which is what I use them for. If you want the best experience, get the 2.1 configuration and choose a brand that doesn't use cheap components. Not recommended.
