Should have listened to others. I have a 1 inch curling iron that will soon run out. After reading many reviews and looking at different brands, I decided to buy it. I was looking for looser curls and straighter hair. my shoulders, long layers, wavy and can get frizzy, especially when wet. This straightener made my hair almost straight. The shaft is too big for my length. My hair is definitely straighter but I'm the wrong size, unfortunately I got this from a third party through Revain so I can't return or exchange it. I've learned my lesson.
