Those blown puck lights were over the top. The remote didn't work at first and had to replace its battery, which is a small round type. The remote control works but the timer does not work. They haven't worked yet and I've tried several times. The back can be unscrewed to insert and replace batteries. However, it doesn't actually "click" or close when the back is reinserted and twisted. It opens very easily, which can be very dangerous for children or pets. The biggest downside is the incredibly dim light. Barely bright enough to read anything underneath. There is no way you can provide enough light in a closet or any other place where you may need light.
