The horn is loud and sounds almost instantly when properly adjusted. If you're comfortable with 12V DC wiring through electrical relays, this is a very good deal for lots of sound. A few vague installation tips: 1. Ditch the stupid thin-walled vinyl hoses and use a fuel injector hose (a rubber hose designed to withstand extreme temperatures and high pressure)2. Attach clamps to both ends of the hose to ensure it does not leak or disconnect from the fittings3. Mount the compressor as close to the horn as possible to reduce horn delay and maximize horn pressure4. Connect the positive wire directly from the battery to the relay and do not power the compressor through the OE.5 horn circuit. Ground wire to chassis at a very, very clean point. Use a dremmel, sander or sandpaper to remove dirt, rust, paint etc. before attaching it to the body with a bolt and washer.
