Hello Wow! I am very, very happy with my new air purifier. I've had many name brand air purifiers in my life and then two very high quality Molekule systems ($800 each) since they first came out. Now I know that they are fine. Due to the fires here in Sonoma County, California (literally just a few miles from my home for the last 3 years), I have decided to install air purifiers in every room. I have serious cardiopulmonary problems. My mother, who lives with me, has COPD and takes oxygen. Knowing that I needed to bolster our defenses, I felt the urge to research my own molecule and see what new information it contained before buying so many other units. Ouch! New recent independent tests have shown that Molekule does not do exactly what it says it does. But while they're still pretty good, the main reason I looked elsewhere was that they can't effectively clean the square footage (400-600 square feet) they claimed. And an independent study by Consumer Report showed that 100 sqm. Feet is her true scope. While researching, I came across the Air Shield UV air purifier from Advanced Pure Air. Was pleased to explore the company and even more pleased to learn that the science behind their departments is correct and the marketing correct. Now I'm glad to have personally tested my first device and to be able to tell you that not only do they do everything Molekule does, they can do even more! First, they can actually remove the square footage they claim. Up to 800 square meters of open space! Second, your replacement filters are cheaper! Third: Other filters in the block are self-cleaning! Fourth, you control the air, show the results, and automatically adjust to the results! Fifth, they are better engineered so UV light has a better chance of actually killing those little airborne germs! And - YOU ARE A QUARTER THE PRICE! Finally - now I will buy 4 more units for my house. So YES, if you really want clean air I recommend the Air Shield UV Air Purifier!
