After installing the first the bearing had play until I tightened the axle nut and then after 500-1000km it got worse. Maybe it was bad from the start? Maybe I messed up on the install when he pulled to the side a bit and bent the 1/2" screw on the bearing installer tool. Or maybe the hub, which was a bit worn from the original bearing, really needed to be replaced. Anyway, I'll have to do it again. The second time I used a new Doorman hub and had no problems, and even before tightening the axle nut there was no play in the bearing. So far it's only been 2-3k. but it works fine.
