Solid material is good for eating
Well, first of all my hamster survived my 5 days, but the hamster was fat. I have a glass aquarium and couldn't attach it to the glass, I have to buy suction cups. Then it tips over, the hamster climbs in and eats. I had to get a cylindrical tunnel and place it in the feeder and then prop it up against the glass while I filled the cylinder with feed. The hamster liked it because he slept on one side and ate on the other. Let's say the feeder was more of a shelter than a feeder. As I said, the hamster was still alive.
