This device looks great, has a soft interior and fits comfortably in full-size discs in cases/album inserts without being cramped. Laserdiscs are also perfect. It has no strange odors or outgassing and appears to be intelligently composed. It's very heavy when fully loaded and the cheap plastic handle and small handle hinges don't look strong enough to support that kind of weight. Also, the combination lock mechanism "floats" behind the adhesive strips and isn't actually attached to the box, so I can see it eventually failing or hitting with significant force. If you are looking for a really beautiful and durable box to store your records for a long time, this is what you need. I am very happy with it for this particular use. If you need it for security then there's not much going for it in my opinion, and if you need it to carry around notes frequently I have concerns about the pen's durability.
