We used 2 pounds of this, if not a little more, to gender my in-laws and it worked so well! Mother-in-law said they were thrilled! We pour the powder into the exhaust pipe, and we also cut out the bottom of the car. We took extra precautions and tried to make sure the powder didn't end up anywhere but where we wanted it, so we used a tarp to catch the spilled powder, elbow length gloves and a change of clothes. We were also under the car and used a spoon to put the powder down the cut out exhaust pipe, so we had to do all these extra things personally. If you just stick it in the exhaust, you probably don't need to do any of this. I used a single cup so the color of the exhaust wouldn't show, and the extra powder we put on a heavy plate (so it wouldn't drain) which we placed on top of the dog's bowl to get it close enough to the exhaust bring to . cut off. As soon as we started the car a beautiful blue caught fire! That was excellent! The powder may stain your skin a bit and being a powder it gets everywhere lol so bring an extra pair of crappy change of clothes and also elbow length gloves to be on the safe side. As soon as it's with you. you won't be a very good secret keeper lol!
